Ayodhya verdict: Asaduddin Owaisi lodged a case, accused of hurting emotions

A case has been registered against Asaduddin Owaisi, a Member of Parliament from Hyderabad of All India Majlis-e-Islami, in Chhapra, Bihar. After the Supreme Court verdict in the Ayodhya dispute, the state president of the Hindu Maha Sabha has filed a complaint in the court on the statement of Owaisi. In the complaint, Abhimanyu Kumar Singh has accused Asaduddin Owaisi of hurting people's emotions. Abhimanyu says the Owaisi statement has also damaged the dignity of the Supreme Court, which has hurt him greatly.

Filing complaint number 3909 in the CJM Court, Abhimanyu Kumar Singh said that the statement of Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi had angered the people and it also damaged the harmony between the two communities. The Chief Judicial Magistrate, after hearing the case, accepted the complaint and transferred the case to ACJM First Court.

It should be noted that Assaduddin Owaisi, the head of the All-India Majlis-e-Islami, had said that his party was not in favor of the five-acre land given for the construction of a mosque under the Supreme Court's decision on the Ayodhya issue as the fight was legal. The rights were for the Babri Masjid.

When asked about the remarks made by some Muslim leaders that five acres of land should be allotted from the 67 acres of land occupied by the government, he said that this continued for many years. The struggle was not for one piece of land. He said why we worked so patiently, we went to court, if it was a piece of land we could have accepted anywhere, but for the last fifty years we have all patiently dealt with this matter. They were fighting in the court of law.
